Sustainable Development

The Group’s Sustainable Development (SD) Division is one of the recent consultancy additions established to help national and local governments worldwide to promote and improve the approach, policy, strategy, plans and programmes of their SD process.

The Team responsible for managing this Division is highly qualified and fully experienced to undertake such formidable challenges. The Team is well aware of the problems and challenges facing developing countries and their public and private sectors, and establishments in fulfilling the goals, objectives and targets of SD, including the United Nations 17 SD
Goals of 2015.

Since the evolution of SD Agenda 21 at Rio de Janeiro’s Earth Summit in 1992, no country has yet achieved full transformation to sustainability. However, there are sound examples that are worth studying and visiting by policy and decision-makers as well as urban planners.

The Team will work closely with the relevant parties to study, identify, and analyse needs at various levels, and recommend the most innovative and feasible (immediate, medium, and long-term) solutions. The top priority the Team has to assist build capacity for SD at the national, regional, local and corporation levels.
